How it works

By agreeing to give that sum to the Foundation on a monthly basis via a credit card (or if you prefer by bank order) you will 'adopt' one of the most needy students. You will know the first name of the child, his or her birth date and the class that he or she is in.
At the end of each term you will receive a copy of the student's report so that you follow his or her progress and you will also be informed of any special achievements or prizes that have been awarded. You will also be invited to special Padrino open days that the school will hold so that you can take part in some of the its activities. You will not, however, know the child's identity until graduation day when you will have the chance to present the student personally with his or her certificate.

How do I apply?

The easiest way is to go directly to "red de amigos" where you will be able to complete the formalities using your credit card via a secure server.

Alternatively you can make an appointment to visit the school by calling Sra. Marianela Fourcade at (562) 780 3362. Either way, once you are enrolled you will receive the data on the student you have agreed to 'adopt' and both reports and newsletters from time to time.

The lasting reward?

Just knowing that you have personally taken responsibility for ensuring that a young and very under-privileged Chilean school child was able to take full advantage of the educational opportunities that this school provides.
